Mission Trip to Rosarito Mexico

Anyone high school age or older with a valid US passport is welcome to join us. Working with skilled masons from Rosarito, we’ll continue construction of the first floor of the Casa de Los Angeles Orphanage in the hills overlooking Rosarito Beach just south of Tijuana. We depart from LCPC Friday at 7:00 p.m. and return about 4:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon. We’ll sleep at a safe, comfortable mission house near the orphanage, visit the Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mision,enjoy fun local restaurants and worship at Calvary Chapel Rosarito. The fee is $90. Watch for registration materials. Speak with Josh or Kim about camperships for students.

Family Promise

LCPC has partnered with Eagle Rock Covenant Church to support Family Promise of the Verdugos, a non-profit, interfaith hospitality network providing temporary assistance, hospitality and case management for families with children experiencing homelesness. Neighbors Helping Neighbors

On the first Sunday of each month the Deacons collect canned food, boxed cereal, pasta sauce, salad dressing, condiments, shampoo, laundry detergent, bar soap, paper towels, toilet paper, dia- persand women’s productsf or distribution to needy families in our community. Pleasedonot bring food that is past its expiration date. You can leave your donations in the narthex or the LCPC church office.

Children's Hunger Fund Food Pak Project

Children’s Ministries is working with Children’s Hunger Fund for Project Food Pak. This hands-on initiative gives everyone a way to serve the needs of the poor. PickupaFoodPakboxandfood list in the narthex, fill the box with the listed items and return it to LCPC by Easter Sunday, March 27. All boxes will go to families in need through Children’s Hunger Fund. Our goal at LCPC is to fill 100 boxes during the season of Lent. Contact Ashley Pollock at ashley@lcpc.net
