We often think of the Old Testament as a collection of barbaric stories and obscure rules, but if we read
carefully we’ll discover that it’s more like a love letter from God to his people. The most basic command
given to Israel is to love God. But what does that mean? Deuteronomy is a guide to learning what it means
to grow in our devotion to God and pass that devotion on to our children. Wednesdays in Koopmans Hall.

Deacons. We will gather in the Sanctuary. Bring a friend who needs prayer.
Please join us at 10 a.m. as the youth of LCPC lead us in a combined service filled with enthusiasm, great music and exciting worship along with spiritual messages and testimonies from several in our Youth Ministry program.
And it doesn’t stop when the service ends...there will be a pancake breakfast after. When the service ends please
join us in Koopmans Hall for an intergenerational prepared pancake breakfast that will include cut fruit and sausage,
juices, milk and coffee prepared by the Cruisers. We hope you will join us and bring friends or neighbors to enjoy this
Sunday morning filled with youthful worship and fellowship. Breakfast is free but a basket will be out for donations.

(Late Afternoon Presidents’ Day)
During this inexpensive weekend adventure we’ll join with Christian friends in Baja to continue construction
of the foundation of Casa de Los Angeles, an orphanage that will eventually accommodate 38 children.
Anyone high school age or older is welcome. We’ll sleep at a comfortable, secure mission compound,
worship at a dynamic local church and feast at wonderful restaurants. Watch for the brochure and registration form at LCPC or on the church web site (LCPC.net).
