What to Expect on Your First Visit

Parking
There is ample parking in the church parking lot and on the street.

Children
If you are wondering how to go about finding the age appropriate place for your child to learn about the Lord, the procedure is quite simple. If you have an infant, you are welcome to drop him or her off in the nursery with our two, highly qualified care givers. We also have a "bawl room" in the upper level of the sanctuary if you would like to watch the service with your baby. Children begin church in the sanctuary and are dismissed to their programs about ten minutes into the service. Elementary aged boys and girls may take the indoor stairs down to Koopman's Hall for our large group FISH program. Pre-schoolers and kindergarteners are walked down to room 104 by a parent or guardian. We ask that all children 3rd grade and younger please be signed out for safety reasons following the service.

9:00 AM Contemporary Service
Being a "come as you are" church, expect to see people wearing jeans, shorts, dresses, dress pants, polo shirts or t-shirts for this “dress code” free service. The worship typically consists of contemporary praise music, multi-media presentations, Bible readings, and a message delivered from our pastor.

11:00 AM Traditional Service
This service maintains a traditional atmosphere, praising God through the use of hymns and classical music performed by our Cathedral Choir, piano, organ, and Cathedral Bell Choir. Children also benefit from a special message before being dismissed for Kid’s Church. This service includes music, multi-media presentations, Bible readings, and a message delivered from our pastor.

Communion
We offer communion on the first Sunday of the month. All who seek the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ are invited to participate in this sacrament.

Coffee Time
During the time between our two services (10:15 AM-11:00 AM) you are encouraged to socialize with our church family. You will also find that our Fellowship Committee offers up cookies and refreshments in the breezeway.

Meet our Pastor

Andy Wilson has been serving as Pastor of LCPC for the past twelve years. He has a strong passion for international missions, and with his wife Mary, Pastor Wilson has spearheaded the creation of a foundation based in La Romana, The Dominican Republic, where they had served as missionaries in 1998 with their two daughters. Pastor Wilson also has a passion for the outdoors and organizes the church “Wildlife Tour” each summer, which takes approximately 30 members to the Eastern Sierras for a week of hiking and fellowship.
