What to Expect on Your First Visit
There is ample parking in the church parking lot and on the street.
If you are wondering how to go about finding the age appropriate place for your child to learn about the Lord, the procedure is quite simple. If you have an infant, you are welcome to drop him or her off in the nursery with our two, highly qualified care givers. We also have a "bawl room" in the upper level of the sanctuary if you would like to watch the service with your baby. Children begin church in the sanctuary and are dismissed to their programs about ten minutes into the service. Elementary aged boys and girls may take the indoor stairs down to Koopman's Hall for our large group FISH program. Pre-schoolers and kindergarteners are walked down to room 104 by a parent or guardian. We ask that all children 3rd grade and younger please be signed out for safety reasons following the service.
9:00 AM Contemporary Service
Being a "come as you are" church, expect to see people wearing jeans, shorts, dresses, dress pants, polo shirts or t-shirts for this “dress code” free service. The worship typically consists of contemporary praise music, multi-media presentations, Bible readings, and a message delivered from our pastor.
11:00 AM Traditional Service
This service maintains a traditional atmosphere, praising God through the use of hymns and classical music performed by our Cathedral Choir, piano, organ, and Cathedral Bell Choir. Children also benefit from a special message before being dismissed for Kid’s Church. This service includes music, multi-media presentations, Bible readings, and a message delivered from our pastor.
We offer communion on the first Sunday of the month. All who seek the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ are invited to participate in this sacrament.
During the time between our two services (10:15 AM-11:00 AM) you are encouraged to socialize with our church family. You will also find that our Fellowship Committee offers up cookies and refreshments in the breezeway.
