Help us Build The Casa de Los Angeles Orphanage in Rosarito, MX!

Friday, February 16 (Evening) – Monday, February 19, 2018

(Late Afternoon Presidents’ Day)

During this inexpensive weekend adventure we’ll join with Christian friends in Baja to continue construction of the foundation of Casa de Los Angeles, an orphanage that will eventually accommodate 38 children. Anyone high school age or older is welcome. We’ll sleep at a comfortable, secure mission compound, worship at a dynamic local church and feast at wonderful restaurants. Passport to Easter, Friday, February 23, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Everyone is invited to this free event where we will share a meal and enjoy 5 stations that include games, science experiments, prayer time and worship as we talk about specific act of ministry that our Savior did in 5 different cities. The fun begins with dinner in Koopmans Hall at 6 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. Contact Ashley@lcpc.net with questions.

Sunday Lunch For The Homeless, Sunday, February 25, 12:00 pm

LCPC will host the meal at Incarnation Catholic Church, 1001 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. A carpool will leave LCPC at noon and return by 3:00 p.m., or you can meet us there. All are welcome! Contact George Vine, (818) 957-0595.

LCPC Annual Meeting – Sunday, February 25, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

You don’t have to be a voting member to attend this fun, informative meeting where we’ll review the 2017 Annual Report, vote on the bylaws, explore the Spirit’s leading with our ministry directors, discuss ideas and concerns, and lift up prayers. Dessert and coffee are included. Meet in Koopmans Hall. Annual Reports for 2017 are available in the narthex. One per household.
