We take care of God's creations at LCPC by watering, weeding, disposing of dead leaves, planting flowers, and trimming plants around the church campus. All ages are welcome. We're there every Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. For more information, contact the church office.
Join the dynamic team that supports the technical aspects of Sunday worship, including sound, lighting, projection, set-ups, slides, etc. No experience is necessary. After training, volunteers work on a rotating basis. Do you have Powerpoint experience or want to learn a new skill? Contact Duane Fernandez at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office.
Members of the congregation are invited to purchase a flower arrangement that is displayed beneath the cross on the chancel (stage) each Sunday. The cost is $45. You can either pay in the church office or put a check in the offering plate marking the check "flowers"; there is also a sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board in the Narthex. The church office will get in touch with the person sponsoring the flowers the week before to remind them, find out what they would like to say in the Sunday bulletin, and what they would like to do with the flowers after the 11am service, i.e. take the flowers home with them, or have the Deacons take them to a person in a hospital, or homebound, etc. Contact the church office to sign up.
Goodies are needed for Hospitality Time in-between services. Cookies, brownies, cut up bagels are all popular treats. Each week we need four volunteers to bring in 48 or more goodies. Contact email@example.com to sign up for a Sunday.
We make meals for people and their families who have had recent surgery, given birth or persevering with a death. Contact the church office who will put you in touch with the Deacon in charge of this ministry.
